Who does the President think he is? Al Gore? Leonardo DiCaprio? Heather Mills? Will.I.am? (I sense a pattern here.)

The left wishes for other people to reduce their consumption and pollution, but they exempt themselves for obvious reasons.

There are new designs using Thorium as a fuel. Thorium can’t be weaponized, the designs safer and there is less waste. Thorium is more plentiful and way cheaper.

“…but the fact is that we don’t need to cut a standard of living at all, we just need to change the way the power is generated.”I’m not sold on nuclear. We still don’t have a plan to safely store the waste. I think there’s something to the idea that we have been falsely sold on the notion that we have to have bigger/better/faster stuff in order to be happy.

“Most of those tracks don’t have room for near as many folks as a soccer stadium.”Average attendance for Nascar races was 97,000 in 2012. Nascar has since stopped releasing attendance figures. The Indy 500 draws around a quarter of a million spectators.FIFA (aka international soccer) games averaged 57,000 in 2014.By comparison, the NFL averages 67,000 per game.Combine that with the fact that soccer stadiums are in places with great public transportation, while Nascar tracks are in places with virtually none & as usual, your argument falls apart. You really, really need to use Google. Google is your friend…
