@SheMcFrom yesterday: I haven’t made pies yet. Turned out the owner had 2 trees, a small pear and a huge apple. Ended up with over 20 more pounds of apples and took about 5 lbs of pears as they aren’t ripe. If you live in Barrie, Ontario, let me know and you can have some applesauce.
