    That actually makes sense. What is a parent but someone who can find the pony in the room full of horse @#$%, or more appropriately, who can see the “future” through the piles of dirty diapers (not applicable in Annie’s case), the temper-tantrums, and the endless chorus of “NO FAIR!”

    No proof of income. No proof of childcare (? That wasn’t a requirement when I adopted.). But she’s got her shoes.

    That’s optimism. Very important for a parent.

    OK why hasn’t anyone brought up the idea of Lilla instead of adopting Annie she foster care annie. That way Lilla will get money and Annie. A perfect solution for everyone. Except the taxpayers of course but we never win.
