Alexi… a pun on “meddling” vs. “medalling.”

Al…. well, maybe that’s what Alexi meant…. dunno…but I think the actual crime is irrelevant…

Dan swoops in whenever he sees the chance to make a pun on a pop culture phrase…

In this case the Scooby-Doo refrain…“And I would have gotten away with it, too, if it weren’t for you meddling kids!”

I’m guessing (hoping) “adult trying to compete with the kids” because of how the clothes don’t fit.

But that’s just a “fair to middling” guess.

You mean Scooby Doo ISN’T famous in all four corners of the Earth? (I’m not sure there are only four corners— that info isn’t all that famous…….) @Bruno Zeigerts “I would have made it if not for those petaling flowers!”

Though I got the joke right away, I hadn’t connected it with Scooby-Doo, though I used to watch it regularly. Guess it’s been too long; funny how you remember some things, while others slip through the gaps, unless or until someone or something brings it back to you.
