And now whales are being destroyed by seismic exploration for the “awl bidness” he founded. One cannot claim credit for unintended side effects. Drake’s well was driven before John D was born. His main “contribution” was in using railroad transportation of oil to wipe out all free enterprise competition for a capitalist victory.
