This actually happened to me. I dreamed that I couldn’t sleep and was tossing and turning all night (I knew it was a dream because it wasn’t my bedroom) and woke up exhausted!

I once worked 18 days in a row. When I tried to sleep, I’d dream I was asleep at work and then wake up.

When I was a kid I use to pick blueberries and cheries during the summer and after about a week of picking I’d dream about working all night and wake up tireder than when I went to bed. Right now I’m dealing with artritis pain in my ankles and that makes it hard to sleep for more than an hour or two at a time.
