Coming Soon 👀 At the beginning of April, you’ll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
I’ve never had a problem with ATM’s or checkout machines, except for the errant $4.xx all in change, but ultimately the amount was correct. Only vending machines never seem to work reliably.
If its a lot of cash – I go to the teller. Otherwise, I just reduce the amount of cash I take out over the week and don’t deposit the cash. Yes. I still pay cash for a lot of things. But that is getting less so since the penny went the way of the Dodo bird and cashiers now have to round up or down. I usually get stuck with the round up – then out comes the debit card.
Just because they weren’t printed on your receipt, don’t think government agencies didn’t already get that information…Whether or not YOU get a cute little picture, they have every detail anyway…
Before there were cameras on the transactions, there was data oversight, before there were computers, there were reports on various paper forms… You can’t stop it, so you may as well enjoy the ride.
and now: apple payments. Thrust your money to Apple even though they can not keep safe some photos, yet they want you to pay with your phone (giving them part of the money of course), and validate with your fingerprint (which is already painted in your phone with your finger grease)

And some of them take tiny but legible pictures of the checks, as you deposit them, and print them right on your receipt.
How cool is that?

I’ve never done a transaction this way. I think that if I had the choice I’d deal with a human teller first
