I tease my neighbor when the racoons raided her tomato plants; they always eat a little and leave the rest of the picked fruit. I tell her that the food critics were not pleased with her organic variety.
Seattle is passing a local law that will charge people a dollar for each piece of food they throw out. I’m wondering who will have the job of counting and how it will be done
I’ve been recycling for years but some of these plastics either don’t have a number on them or it is too tiny to read without my reading glasses. If I wore the glasses I’d trip over everything in the garage and likely end up in the ER.Fortunately the city operates a recycling center down the road and whatever our removal service does not take can go there.
Chopped, (cooking contest on the food network) has several times had one where the four contestants are given the kind of leftovers that get thrown out tho not spoiled and then they have to cook a good meal out of them. An eye opener on what can be done.

Why are YOU getting mad at them?(Maybe “perfectly good” and “what I want to eat” don’t overlap for this guy.)

And who gets the blame for feeding the wildlife if the people admit tossing food out?

We never throw away good food, we put it in the fridge until it spoils THEN we throw it away.PS we recycle too.
