Here in the US the politicians bring the party favors to the elected office.

Makes as much sense as anything in that world.

I know PLENTY of Democrats who are thoroughly disgusted with our current “Dear Leader”

I don’t understand. Obama’s policies are more like Bush’s than anything, yet you never criticised him. Oh, yea, Bush was a Republcan.

Surely did work for Dubya Bush though. :)

I can’t say I liked Obama, but the golf course episode was a new low. The guy has all the heart of a rock. Later he said he guessed it wasn’t good for his “optics”. Even after what people said, he only thought in terms of himself. He hasn’t got a clue.
