ALL the Star Wars movies are GREAT, some people just read what some critics say and then bleat it back without ever forming their own opinionâŠ. Movie Ditto heads⊠And donât tell me how bad Jar Jar was, he provided a great break from everything getting too serious the way the âDroidsâ did in the first series

Redkaycei, some of us decided there are only three good Star Wars movies because the most recent three are lacking much of what made the first three goodâmainly character development.

Thereâs only one GREAT âStar Warsâ movie and thatâs 1977âs âStar Warsâ (I refuse to refer to it by any other name). âEmpire Strikes Backâ is good, but what keeps it from being great is that itâs so clearly a middle chapter. If âReturn of the Teddiesâ had been better, âEmpireâ would benefit in retrospect.
âStar Warsâ stands alone as a wonderful adventure. But opening it out, it and âEmpireâ are merely the two good thirds of a mediocre trilogy.

Well, I still have the three-disc set of the original âStar Warsâ, and still watch all three once a year or so. Loved them, especially the initial experience of seeing them in a huge, one-screen theater (ask your grandparents, kids). The new ones? Aackk! I watched the first one - disliked it intensely and couldnât believe it was made by the same man. Watched the first half of the second and shut it off - didnât care to see any more. Have never even tried the third.

There was something about the original STAR WARS movie that makes it special. Maybe itâs because the special effects and sound technology was really new and different at the time. A noticeable change from what was the norm back then.

The original Star Wars movies are good , the first Prequel wasnât that bad but the other two , well letâs just say you canât love Darth Vader when heâs such a sissy .
