This spammer joined yesterday and put this ad in just about every strip. I’ve been going through the whole site and flagging them all.

I’ll check comics.com and arcamax comics just to see if she (we know it’s a female) is doing this also.

We allegedly spend the most money - by FAR - of any state on education but public school students are 3rd from

on standardized test scores nationwide! No wonder that homeschooling and charter schools are so big out here! I just wish that we could get the money back that the state extorted out of us to pay for useless or even nefarious “education” bureaucracies, programs and positions that clearly don’t work! Tragic how most of those positions are filled by former cronies or union officials…

How did he pass English?

I once worked with a young guy that just graduated from college (the same one I went to) who could barely read. I’m still puzzled as to how he did it.

There is no excuse for failing to teach reading and writing. The consequences of illiteracy are immeasurable. Good PUBLIC schools are necessary. We have to work this out together or our country is gong to disappear down a deep dark and dirty pit.

Neither liberal nor conservative ideology is responsible for this. There are no easy answers.

Um, actually, Liberal ideology IS responsible! It’s just that no Liberal will admit that government is NOT the solution to every problem! Why is it that PRIVATE schools - even those in disadvantaged areas - manage to get HIGH graduation rates and HIGH scores on just about any measure of student success used?

Even Charter schools - which are PUBLIC, but outside the normal bureaucracy - do better than NEA-infested so-called “schools”…

What are the three biggest lies in the English language?

1) “The Check’s in the mail”

2) “Sure, I’ll respect you in the morning”

3) “I’m from teh Government, and I’m here to help”

Actually, there’s another one -

“The GOVERNMENT Check’s in the mail”!
