I suspect Big Shirley thinks it is a game of toss and retrieve and will follow Alice to give the rabbit back…

I don’t think Big Shirly will eat you, Alice, or Polyfill. If I lived with Grandma I’d be hesitant about eating anything!

I think Big Shirley only looks like a pig in Alice’s imagination. What Big Shirley REALLY looks like, we will never know!
