Yeah, my cats will sniff at dropped bits then look at me like âYou guys eat this stuff?â before walking away in a snit. Used to have a Pekingese (over the bridge at the age of 12) and she was the best floor snurfler, only problem was turning around and tripping over a barely ankle height dog. So she was finally banished from the kitchen when there were people in it.
All depends on what you put in your food.Donât put anything in thatâs harmful to pets if youâre going to give them some, and serve yourself on the side.
Not necessarily true. Back in the late 1940s we had a dog that only got table scraps. In its life time and only visited a vet twice (once to be neutered) and had 2 baths (both from flea infestations). But she did die at a young age â she only lived to age 22.

You mean your cats donât do the job? Mine will jog my hand to convince me to drop stuff if I let myself get in range.

My wife made me a meatloaf and I didnât like. I put it on the floor for the dog. The dog sniffed it and walked away.
