@Brian you got that right. Put money in the hands of the 47%, and the economy takes off. Put money in the hands of big business and the 1%, and it stays in their bank accounts (offshore, perhaps). Why would they spend in on expanding business when no one is buying?
And, when you shop at the mall, you pay $100 for a dress that has $5.00 worth of actual materials in it and was sewn by someone who got paid 50 cents to do it. In a year or so, you will become tired of it and give it to Good Will and I will buy it for $5.00 and send the money I save to the kids I am paying tuition for in several third world countries. Just be sure to give it to Good Will or the Salvation Army when you get tired of it, or you mess up the system.
