Aww, I’m sad

Sometimes we all need a mama.

I will be the exception today; I am glad my parents are deceased. I try to keep my life low stress and meditate often because it is cheaper than cable. My parents were self-absorbed with their relationship they only time they wanted me around was to watch their house while they went on long trips. Yeah I am not a family oriented person.

While my mother and I loved each other dearly, we did not get along. However, even after 45 years, I still miss my father and grandfather terribly.

My mom’s 90th birthday was yesterday. She has been gone for nine. It took us awhile to reach the point where we were good friends, but not one day goes by that I don’t miss her more than anything else in this world. I never had a dad and envy those that do and did. I wish we all could have the best relationship possible with both parents. Only in a perfect world I guess.

More to the point, Meemaw needs to get back to her own busy life!
