Try being a mechanic with his own hoist in his own garage. I never, ever get a day off. 5-6 days a week fixing customers’ cars, 1-2 fixing family & friends’ cars…
Just because your phone/computer is with you doesn’t mean you need to answer/check e-mail. When I go on vacation I read the comics on-line, but any work-related e-mails can wait ‘til I’m home. Of course, my phone is hard-wired to the kitchen wall, so when I go on a bicycle ride each day, I get time with no interruptions…much safer to worry about traffic than about if my cell-phone is ringing and why.
