What’s the point? I can’t see it! And it’s kinda tacky at that….

I think Olivia must be the other pushpin….. she’s high “up” on the bulletin board…. and the other two seem to be looking her direction….

I think they should try again to get to know her, though…. her expression is sad, and she’s looking blue…. maybe they think she’s stuck up, when she’s actually shy.

Well, she is stuck up… on that board…. but not like….. ..…. er… she doesn’t think she’s above them…I mean, she is above them..but not….um…. you know what I mean….

PS to Dan….I miss the doggy….

I miss the legendary dog as the avatar for “Brevity” itself. I never much cottoned to the burglar (any burglar who isn’t one of the Beagle Boys will never impress me).

Dog aside, the other 3 notes are tributes to other comic strips. Almost everyone here knows Dennis the Menace, and I suspect almost as many are familiar with Rip Haywire (particularly the artist of this strip). I suspect the final panel is a riff on Mark Parisi’s ‘Off The Mark’ but I’m willing to be convinced otherwise.

Had to go back to see the eyes as well as the bows on the pushpins.

Darn good cartoon today.
