I remember one by Jim Davis where Garf answered a fan mail asking how he stood on the fence. He showed the fence from a different angle; it was about a foot thick with a flat top.
We’ve never seen a different angle of Snoopy’s house have we?But actually if you look at the Oct 19th strip Lucy was standing on Snoopy’s doghouse without any problems, so it has to be flat on top.
Actually, it’s just a matter of training. For one thing, that “point” is at least an inch across, and just as a tight-rope walker can not only walk but also lie on the “wire” (which is a fairly thick rope), so also a Zen-master Snoopy can easily sleep on his gabled roof! You can learn, Boody!

Hmm… Since we never saw the doghouse from another angle, I guess I always figured it was flat on top. Poor Boody. :)

Because Snoopy keeps his body in peak performance with yoga.

What I would like to know is how Boody expects to be able to sleep on a back that comes to a point.

Plus, Marcie occasionally acts as Snoopy’s secretary — and she sits on the doghouse several times. It can’t be too difficult.

With great difficulty.
