That’s true. Trace the history of universal flood myths. The words are a bit different but the theme’s the same.
There’s nothing funny, witty or clever here. The idea is at best a rough draft that the cartoonist turned in as a piece of finished work.
Needs a spark of ….of….of….SOMETHING, just can’t put my finger on it.. Maybe the Sunday puzzle will ignite my….oh, wait !!..crap… the thought’s gone again…
