Paris Goat sure knows how to avoid waste — he makes it go to a motel.

Never, never, NEVER say to Rat … “Make yourself at home.” I expected a few beer cans scattered around Goat’s house. (Not full of beer cans, because Pastis is too lazy to draw more than one per cel.)

Nab, yup. Me too…..Never thought I’d see the day….

and here I thought, Rat, was going to disobey Goat’s rules, and everything the exact opposite of what he said

Talk about OCD; Goat makes a terrible roommate – as bad as or worse than Rat – a lousy host, and an even worse landlord. Rat made the right move.

I’m with Rat.

I thoughts goats ate trash…scraps…pretty much anything they can get to!

A whole week to get a room painted?

Have to get the funk off the walls before he (painter) could paint, and the floors are a little sticky!

I wouldn’t want to live there with those rules but a week wouldn’t be so bad.

All I’m getting for the strip today is a broken link.

When even disease carrying vermin whose idea of paradise is a full dumpster won’t stay with you, you’re going too far.

Were I still married, my ex would so put that on the fridge. (I am Goat, she’s Rat.)

Wow, talk about “House Rules”…

I’m not as bad as goat (I like heat), but honestly, when people leave the water running or scatter their clothes all over the floor or leave food on the stove all day—well, yeah, go stay in a hotel.

I’ve got relatives like that. We stay at a motel, too…money is no match for peace of mind.

Rat’s right. In any case a week is 4 days over the 3-day rule for visitors and fish – after that they must be thrown out.

I think Rat made the right choice.

Goat sounds like an overprotective parent here.

Been there, experienced that. Stayed at the Marriott.

My baby sister got the saving energy thing last summer but not because she’s like Goat. At 35 she had to borrow from our folks because of extremely high energy bills due to an ancient central air AC system that would cost her more money to replace than trying to lower her energy bill. She got a smaller AC unit for her bedroom, but the rest of the house was a lot warmer as she had to keep the thermostat set higher than she wanted.

Sounds like a lot of people commenting are wasteful in real life. Is it that difficult to conserve energy and water? Recycle? Keep noise to an appropriate level?

Some of y’all really should stay in a motel than be a wasteful and rude guest at your friend’s or family’s.
