First two lines from It’s Cold Outside, a regional hit by The Choir, a Cleveland group in the sixties. Some of them also went on to join The Raspberries

By the lyrics shown, the song could be an old song on the oldies station that’s new to you that’s about growing old. Maybe it’s just a song about losing one’s (in oldies parlance) gal. Kind of like a pre Beatles version of Yesterday.

As Edward Clayton pointed out , it’s The Choir doing It’s Cold Outside. In Cleveland, with three top 40 radio stations, we probably heard it 10 times a day.

You’d be amazed how much great music never got any air time.

Same feeling I get when I hear new music on the local “classic rock” station. But really: How classic can they be, given the way they ignore the Beatles!!?

He might be listening to Stiv Bators’ 1979 cover of “It’s Cold Outside”… which also qualifies as an oldie these days!
