Finally! After days of struggle! My column's done! Ok! Sending it off! Aaaah!! The Internet's down!? You can't go down now!! Don't you know I'm on deadline? First, writers block... Now, cyber-block!
the silliest people are the ones who do a big column, and since they going to email it, they do it in the email page itself, instead of doing a word document, save it, than copy and paste it into the email
Plus, It’s cyber Monday!! Fritzie, don’t you wish you were back in Bushmiller’s mid-30’s strips!! A daily gag, gentlemen suitors, a laughable side-kick, etc,etc……..
Many years back, our clerk-typist was typing madly to finish an in depth, lengthy report that HAD to be in before the close of business….unfortunately, she never thought about saving what she had typed….she was about three pages from completing the report when the power failed….and the generators didn’t kick in fast enough…and the whole report was lost. We, as a group, took several pages each from the report and typed our merry hearts away….and the report went in on time…..all our computers were set to auto save after that glitch….

I feel your pain, babe. Had to deal with both those problems in the past myself.
