I suspect Torties (and other cold-blooded animals) are supposed to spend a winter like this hibernating.
I have to go along with Tortie on this one.

Although I do not have a scute to ache, I sympathize, Tortie. (I have found that hot toddies work wonders for both ache and attitude.)
The US Southwest hasn’t really started winter yet. The high mountains have some snow but so far down here, in the more or less flats, it’s been chilly and occasionally damp. I call it “Ugh” weather.
