I rather like it.

The hat looks quite sophisticated. The jacket, on the other hand….. :)

I like the hat. It reminds me of the one worn by my dad decades ago.

I had a neighbor once that would always ask my opinion about something then take offense if he didn’t like it. Although Earl just did the same thing, he wasn’t as likeable as Earl!

A good friend wore a civilian version of a GI Boonie hat. Bill called it his “go to H###” hat. If someone didn’t like it, he’d tell them… As I get older, that makes even more sense, RIP, Bill.

Earl looks GREAT in the hat and shouldn’t let anyone talk him out of wearing it. I have many “grandpa” hats and wear them daily spring through fall. They are my senior “badge of honor” besides being very practical. Bryan, please have Earl keep wearing the hat whenever he is outdoors. I MEAN BUSINESS!!!

Earls hat is fine..just as long as he doesn’t wear a beret..he doesn’t drive a convertible MG or Triumph..
