I have always believed that a child’s dislike of a food item is because their taste buds are so acute and new. People as they age lose some of the intensity of their taste buds but also have their tastes mature and develop. My food llikes have improved 100% since I was a kid.

I guess nobody up above, ever heard of ’ Eggplant Parmesan ’.

I will never like broccoli! But I love spinach – cooked or uncooked.

I still can’t wrap my stomach around okra or green bell peppers.

They need to have more Bickersons/Lockhorns-type humorin this strip!

I hate liver and grape leaves. Wouldn’t think of eating any bugs. Not touching Rocky Mountain Oysters either. My husband won’t eat anything with suckers on it. Yet, he’s eaten ants, no chocolate on them either. Go figure!

I now have curry sauce on hot dogs and chips when I never used to have sauce on anything. I enjoy it with and without.xxx

Nabuquduriuzhur: Cooked spinach is in the same category as cooked lettuce.

Loved that today. Brussels sprouts taste bitter to me too. I get tired of when people tell me “Well, the way I fix them, you would like them.” Yeah sure!
