I do, and I like my steak still mooing. Anything more the medium goes like bootleather

I want to be able to say to the waiter: “Well done, thou good and faithful servant.”

Medium rare for me. But when eating at a restaurant I order it medium. You never know how good the kitchen staff is. If it’s under cooked a little it’s medium rare and I’m happy, If it’s over cooked a little it’s medium well and still edible. To me well done isn’t well done. I mean if you’re going to destroy a nice cut of meat like that then you might as well just order a hockey puck!

I always order my salad on a separate plate, so my steak won’t start grazing.

In answer, the waiter hands him a spear…

I grew up eating meat well done because my mother used a toothpick instead of a meat thermometer; she would poke the meat and if the toothpick came out dry and clean it was done. Makes people wonder why I like beef jerky.

My best friend makes burgers, and as he’s forming them, he eats the raw burger meat. I like my beef rare but raw is out for me…

I like my steaks rare… but the few times I have eaten at a restaurant, the best they’ve been able do is medium rare.

all meat should be irradiated.kill all the bacteria even in hamburger meat and don’t need to cook it for the raw meat eaters.
