Please, please don’t let the facts get in the way of my beliefs. They just make life so inconvenient. After all, they said it on TV, didn’t they? It has to be true.Just a carry-over from yesterday and our comments about shoplifters. We all know what is meant when it is said that someone claims to be racially profiled or if they play the race card. Sure we do. Thieves and thugs. But. (There’s always a “but.”) But let’s not forget the money, the bottom line. Let’s not forget the names of some really big thieves and thugs that make ordinary shoplifters look like pikers. Names like AIG, Enron, Arthur Andersen, Lehman Bros., Bernie Madoff, R. Allen Stanford, and those are just the ones who got caught. The better thieves were the ones who didn’t get caught, like Goldman Sachs, and the galaxy of hedge fund managers. These (unracial) guys ruined many thousands of lives and stole close to a trillion dollars. Now that’s some big-league thievery!
That’s tomorrow’s weather forecast anyway!! Here in the great state of sunshine it is only cold and rainy twice a year. We had our cold and rain for the rest of the year and Jan. will be warm and sunny.
Television is all powerful and many folks see what they are told to see. Show them the Sahara Desert and say it is the North Pole, and they will see snow instead of sand.
I live in Miami and can attest to this. I have several friends who live in the Midwest that check weather in Miami (where they want to one day live) and usually they tell me my own weather before I’ve had a chance to check it!

They forgot they taped the weather channel while they were on that last trip. But since they’re watching it now it must be happening now.
