Nice to see these old strips with all the detail. Wouldn’t work with today’s downsized comics in print.
Tarzan is putting on a real show of his skills the last couple of weeks. Those talking apes at their destination may be anticlimactic.
Happy birthday Tarzan. Today in 1929 was the first “Tarzan” comic strip in a newspaper.
Of all the lousy jungles, in all the lousy world, a bull elephant that Tarzan happens to know tramples into this one.
Aww right!! This reminds me of the Tarzan when I was a kid!
I don’t think that there is another strip with comparable quality artwork.
These new sporty models have the trunk in front.
The artwork in this 1948 strip is so much more superior than Celardo’s. Celardo has his moments, but he can’t touch this! :)> TarzanJungleExcitementAGowa!!
