Good morning Vagabonds. Our storm is finally winding down. Still windy but very little snow. They say we got 20" in my town but I don’t know where they measured it with the drifts etc. I know in my back yard I have a saw horse that stands 27" high and the snow is almost to the top of it. Will go out later and dig myself out with the snow blower. It should go good as the snow is very light.
If any of you want to come over and play in the snow, you’re welcome. I’ll make some coffee.
Good morning Vagabonds..The storm is moving out taking it’s sweet time. For us it was your garden verity winter snow storm, but to the south and east. oh boy, two cites in Maine reported 3’ so far, Boston 2’ (but woodworker knows that)..Well that’s the big news, nothing else going on so I’ll take my leave and go a tooning..ttfn
We lucked out here. The storm passed just to the East of us … about 20 miles out to sea … and we only got 3 or 4 inches. Now all the TV weather forecast talking heads are trying to explain why they got it so wrong. We had a lot of strong wind with sleet and snow but very little accumulation.
Another beautiful day here in the desert. High should be around 66. My walk with a friend has been cancelled this morning, so I guess I’ll just go ahead and get to work. I still have a few year end things to catch up on.
This is our last day of early spring. It was 54 yesterday. And only supposed to be in the high 40’s today. There’s only a tad of snow left. But, I know we’ll have more just around the corner.
Our “baby” turned 40 today! It’s really awful sounding, isn’t it! But, he’s turned into quite a great kid. In fact, all of our kids turned out very well.
