One soda, two straws, Charlie?

I actually had a chance to go to a drugstore with an actual soda fountain in it last September. Instead I got voted out and we ended up at an Armenian place.

How do I continue moving along through the Peanuts collection? I’m looking for a particular strip, the first one I recall, which was sent to my by a friend in 1954. My name is Lucy, and Lucy van Pelt and I are kindred spirits!

And there you go that is now how Chuck will look for decades, I think the “kiss curl” turns into a squiggle but , yea that is now the final version of “Good O’L Charlie Brown”

Maybe she’ll dig her keys into the side of his tricycle, carve her name into the seat, take a Louisville slugger to both reflectors, and slash a hole in all three tires. Maybe next time he’ll think before he cheats. Couldn’t resist.

The word “drugstore” always confused me as a child. We call them pharmacies or chemists over here. Not having much of a clue, I thought that was where you bought your illicit chemicals :D

Ohhh, who knew Charles was such a playa! But that all changed when Lucy came to town.
