From Dec 1-31 my playlist includes winter songs (Let it Snow) Christmas carols , NYE (I have 4 different versions of Auld Lang Syne – who knew you could change it up) and the sound track to the original “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”. Love some of the expressions I see when people hear me singing along to “You’re A Mean One, Mr. Grinch” :_
What gets me is why stations play a wall-to-wall glut of Christmas songs during Advent, and then go back to regular programming once the Christmas season arrives?

I listened to Holiday Traditions from December 1st to Christmas Day. Then I switched back to my regular favorite stations on Boxing Day.

I could turn off the radio. But I couldn’t do anything about my wife.

My favorite oldies station switched on Thanksgiving day 100%.I wouldn’t be surprised if they started on the 4th of July next year.
