Experience is a Great Teacher, just not always the Best way to learn something! Now watching others learn through Experience is a good way, as well as occasionally being very Amusing.

Experience is the worst teacher. It gives the test before the lesson. Most of us have the scars to prove this. :-))

I never bother to make resolutions. I’m not saying I’m perfect… I just wouldn’t stick to them. And besides, every year is the same.

His resolution to make mistakes is pretty much a Neil Gaiman quote:

“I hope that in this year to come, you make mistakes.

Because if you are making mistakes, then you are making new things, trying new things, learning, living, pushing yourself, changing yourself, changing your world. You’re doing things you’ve never done before, and more importantly, you’re Doing Something."

My life relates to Earl so well. Always makes me laugh!
