The poor little snowman is really on edge.He feels that things are meaningless and he is stuck in the gutter. But if he jumps, he could end up cold and lifeless. If your peers told you to jump off a cliff, would you do it?Donât listen to them. They are nothing but a bunch of flakes.
if i listen to my grandchildren playing, i hear these types of things. not often but on rare occasion. when i ask them why? or how come? i find that they are processing and/or imitating what they saw in a movie, on tv, or heard an adult say. always interesting to me to listen and watch how children try to process what us adults âthrowâ at them that they truly are not able to understand or process because of their lack of experience, years of living and understanding of ramifications. yet we flippantly so much of the time treat children as miniature adults who can handle situations and information processing like a mature adult and then wonder why they âact outâ what they do and say what they say. sorry for being on a kind of soapbox but a few have said how they find this strip âdifferentâ â so thought iâd throw in my 1/2 cents of observations on kids and why they sometimes do/say weird, creepy, off the wall stuff like calvin is today.
