I am so sorry to hear about Chloe, Thom. It is never easy losing a companion and member of the family……

So sorry about Chloe. Dogs try to learn new tricks for their master no matter how old they are or how hard it is for them. Always wanting to please.

There is a poem called “The Rainbow Bridge”; itteels of our loved pets crossing over and enjoying themselves without pain or difficulties. From there they watch over us til we all meet again. Chloe is waiting for you.

SO SORRY THOM! I have said goodbye to beloved dogs and cats both! With some, many years have now gone by, and I still miss them like it was yesterday. Each one is special in their own way. And as has been stated by others over the years, “if my pets aren’t in heaven waiting for me, I’m not going”.

She’ll be waiting for you, Thom. I have a Khloe too, so I can imagine how you feel…

Sorry Thom. It is sad losing loved pets. I look at the cartoon you did of my Lab, Cleo and my terrier Kaya and it always brings warm memories to mind. Maybe you should frame this cartoon, like I did mine and hang it above yor desk.

Sad losing a devoted pet…. I know.

Thank you all for your wonderful, kind and heartfelt comments. We lost Chloe yesterday after her long bout with cancer (2 1/2 years) and I’ve been pretty sad, to say the least. It is comforting hearing your support and I truly thank you for that. I hope I haven’t offended anyone for doing a cartoon tribute to my little dog, but I couldn’t resist. And to all who asked, I don’t know what kind of terrier she was – even the vet couldn’t tell me – but she was a very smart, sweet little terrier.

Thank you all again so much. It means the world to me to have readers like you!

so sorry for you in the loss of our treasured chloe, she’s up on a cloud, and has space reserved for you and all your pets when time comes for all to join her forever.

Sorry to hear about Chloe,I know it is trite but true, she is free of her discomfort at last. We have lost two from cancer and, though we miss them, they are better off now. ☯

I am really sorry to hear about your pet. I have had to put 2 of my dogs down in the last week. One for natural causes and one from an animal attack. It just never gets easier and doesn’t go away.
