We always use cloth napkins. Our motto is, for guests, use until you want it washed. My observation is why do greasy, stainled cotton napkins always get clean, with no stains and shirts get them all?

Cloth, I pick them up at garage sales. We have quite a collection of weird prints!

I remember using cloth hankies when I was a kid. They would freeze solid in my jacket pocket. They were too disgusting to put in my shirt pocket.

Mind you, I do keep the paper one near me and re-use it until it gets too grotty.

When we have company, we break out the fancy paper napkins. Select-a-size paper towels for everyday use.

Viva…. it’s not just a paper towel, it’s a napkin too. I didn’t grow up with cloth and I don’t think I even own any. I have noticed that my mom uses them now at our birthday lunches. They must have been one of the items she broke out after we all moved. I did grow up with…..I can’t have anything nice with you kids around. ;-)

We have a rag bag that we use for spills and spots on the floor, or paint drips, etcetera.

we always buy paper napkins. I guess that’s what we grew up with since I never thought about cloth ones. Even at a restaurant I ask for paper.

beviek GoComics PRO Member said, about 10 hours ago Speaking of toilet paper, has anyone else noticed that the Charmin Extra Soft rolls are about a quarter inch more narrow than they used to be? I compared the cardboard roll that we used recently with one from before and that’s how much shorter it was. Everything is getting more expensive. If they don’t raise the price they “short” you on the quantity. Ice cream packaging is a prime example. I suppose they think we don’t notice

HAVE YOU BOUGHT KLEENEX, NOSE BLOWING TISSUES OF LATE???? THEY ARE MUCH SMALLER AND THINNER, NO MATTER WHAT BRAND, AND I HAVE ALLERGIES AND MY EYES WATER ALL THE TIME, ESP, OF LATE IN THIS COLD WINTER! AND THEY COST MORE, SURPRISE, SURPRISE!
