‘When’ I read the paper, I always read the ‘entertainment’ section(comics), obits, sports and then place it in the bag for recycling paper. Never read the news(always so depressing even 4 cups of coffee wouldn’t help)!!
Our local paper is a pitiful little thing they roll up and secure with a rubber band. I usually only check the front page. The big city newspaper weighs 4 lbs, 3 of which is ads. I have already read anything of interest online or have seen it on TV. What a waste of trees!

When I used to get newspaper: I’d go to comics, obituaries, and readers’ answers to a random question (all three not in that particular order).

I don’t get a “paper” paper. Online, the order is terrestrial weather, spaceweather, comics, columns, and finally (after my coffee), news.

I always read the comics last. That way I am left with a happy mood.

I do the Comics Last so that I’ll at least end on a High Note. Same with Food!

His newspaper still carries lots of classified ads? Is this strip a reprint from 1997??
