Phoebe: Remember when we went to the park yesterday?
Marigold: It was TWO days ago we went to the park
Phoebe: Really? What did we do yesterday?
Marigold: Something other than going to the park!
Phoebe: Seems like a waste.
Yesterday was just snotty, so it’s probably best not to remember it. Still, if Phoebe is already having problems remembering what she did one day ago, she could be a prime candidate of Alzheimer’s when she gets older.
There is nothing funny about dementia. Or about Alzheimers. Watching someone you love slowly go away, leaving their body behind, is a kind of living nightmare.
