This is the league that threatened to kick Lynch from the game if he wore the gold shoes. This is also the league that fines him thousands of dollars for not speaking to the media. Yet, this is also the same league that turned it’s head and coughed during the entire Ray Rice “investigation.” No umbrage like fake umbrage.

When you devote this much energy is to deflated balls, and concussions, PEDs, violence by players, etc are conveniently forgotten, you know you are a football fan. I’m not – I’m done.

so the NFL is supposed to be full of totally honest people who follow every rule?Which makes me wonder why baseball raises up its cheaters as heros. Like lighter bats, excessive pine tar, spit balls and stealing the other teams signals.Sorry, but IMPO every team in the NFL is cheating or is trying to cheat. Just because the Pats beat the Colts by 40+ points(3 TDs were by the running back. Which if I am not mistaken is something the Pats have done 3 times to the Colts. The Colts do not have any defense against the ground game. Their defense was totally gassed by the end of the first half)BTW, Aaron Rogers of the Packers has stated that he prefers balls that are over inflated. So, is anyone going to tell me that GB does not overinflate its 12 balls?Hey, if the NFL did not expect cheating they would, just like MLB provide all the balls. Therefore IMPO this is nothing more than the Colts trying to come up with an excuse.BTW, did the NFL check the inflation of the Colts balls?Does anyone truly think that all the other NFL teams are not out to try and steal other teams game plans-at least they did back when the game plans were all on paper-or that they are not trying to intercept the radio signals from the coaches to the offence and defense?Sorry but I remember back in the 60s when the Oakland Raiders flooded the field before every home game, when some teams kept the grass very tall and wet it down the night before games. Or how the GB Packers back in the day made sure their field was frozen before games with the Cowboys.Breaking the rules, to give your side an advantage has been going on in MLB for over 100 years, why on earth do people assume that the NFL is not also doing it?

Don’t we look a bit silly when the comments on a serious issue in the NFL and beyond (domestic violence) are about underinflated footballs — which could be put into the same category as soccer and basketball flopping.?
