To borrow from Yoda:       “Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering." Or Lennon McCartney: "Nothing you can know that isn’t known Nothing you can see that isn’t shown Nowhere you can be that isn’t where you’re meant to be It’s easy

All you need is love All you need is love All you need is love, love Love is all you need All you need is love (All together, now!) All you need is love (Everybody!) All you need is love, love Love is all you need Love is all you need (Love is all you need) Love is all you need (Love is all you need) Love is all you need (Love is all you need) Love is all you need (Love is all you need) Love is all you need (Love is all you need) Love is all you need (Love is all you need) Love is all you need (Love is all you need) Love is all you need (Love is all you need) Love is all you need (Love is all you need) Love is all you need (Love is all you need) Love is all you need (Love is all you need) Yee-hai! (Love is all you need) Love is all you need (Love is all you need)…" Apologies, I just got tired of seeing all the violence in the news. JusHopin’

Sure. (Sarcasm from here on) The actions of the church 800 years ago certainly does make the wholesale murder of populations today. Also, let’s keep in mind that the crusades were the result of the Islamic hoards attacking and taking over of territories that had been Christian for a thousand years and that these Islamists used the same tactics as the islamists of today.

If you draw on history, at least be accurate.

And today, people are arguing about stuff that happened 500 years ago as if it somehow justifies brutal murders today. Muslim extremists are throwing people out of windows, beheading civilians for being Christian, burning a man alive & bragging of the deed. While people point fingers, the murders continue.

ok, check your newest versions of history books, even the secular historians are looking over the evidence and records and finding that very very few were burned at the stake, and criminals (alleged or otherwise) were treated far better than they were by the secular courts, even to the point of, when someone was accused of a crime, they blasphemed as well in order that they would be tried by the Church, who was more humane and fair than the secular courts, from prisons, to treatment, even in getting fair representation.
