Robbie actually showed up on Lost In Space at least once (it sticks in my mind that he was controlled by the weird guy in the top-hat who made popping sounds by smacking his open mouth with his hand, but I may be conflating episodes).

Dr. Smith is my all-time favorite TV character, and part of it was his interaction with the “bubble-headed booby” robot.
