Love the lineup… Iron Giant, C3PO, R2-D2, Baymax and Wall-E… which is kinda sad ’cause I have NO clue who the guy is…

The last two, onthe left Robot from Lost InSpace, #3 Robbie the robot, from Forbinne Planet.

The robot after R2D2 is Bender Bending Rodríguez from “Futurama.”

A great tribute to a man who gave science fiction buffs two iconic characters, Robby and the B-9 Robot.

You can buy full-size, functional, Robby and B-9 robot reproductions, just like you can buy a classic Adam West-era Batmobile repro. You’d better be Bill Gates, though. Robbie is $32,000; the B-9 is $24,500 and the Batmobile is $200,000.

Simply beautiful, a fitting tribute. Thank you.

Dr. Smith is my all-time favorite TV character, and part of it was his interaction with the “bubble-headed booby” robot.

Robbie actually showed up on Lost In Space at least once (it sticks in my mind that he was controlled by the weird guy in the top-hat who made popping sounds by smacking his open mouth with his hand, but I may be conflating episodes).
