Wore contacts but never quite got used to the itching. Getting them in and out wasn’t easy for me, but others have no problem. The worst for me was the cost.
I got contacts when I was nine years old, wore ‘em for most of the next thirty years, gradually switching to glasses the last couple of years because my eyes were getting drier and I was traveling a lot by air over long distances (dry and hard on the eyes). Finally, I got LASIK. Excellent decision. Went from 7+ diopters to perfect vision. A dozen years later, my eyes are a bit worse (I’m over fifty), but still don’t need glasses.

There is something about sticking my fingers in my eyes for 5 minutes in the morning that sets my day.

I missed something. Why does the doctor select something that neither the patient nor the parent wanted, and why are they going along with it?

I’m still confused with yesterday’s strip…

Frankly, I rather like having windshields in front of my eyes.
