Good Morning all. Another Monday is upon us and in the course of what should be just one day, Friday will be here. I can not believe how fast the weeks fly by.
I am here i am here i am here. I have missed this sooooo much and now that we have us all here together again i am going to have to spend some time on here. oh my family who rocks! hows it going?
Dry to show you how great my mind is, I walked upstairs intending to strip the bed to wash the sheets. By the time I reached the top stair, it had slipped from my mind and I made the bed.
Cleo I change my sheets every Saturday, and weather permitting, they hang in the fresh air all day.
However, I have done similar things to that! Last evening I went into the kitchen with a definate purpose, when I got there, I forgot what it was so I turned around and walked back out!
Joy my great aunt had a phrase she used in Italian, I wish I could think of it now! Of course, it was a swear word, LOL! God love her, she spoke english well with a very heavy accent, but she never learned to read or write english. Back then though, well, she was a mail order bride from Italy.
Just a quick pop-in on my lunch break. I will probably also be scarce for while too. Listening to the Tigers game right now. If I keep it up through class, people might notice! (angry muttering)
Oh Carmy don’t play innocent, you know a lot of Spanish! LOL! Yeah, I just typed in the google search bar, english to spanish” and pulled up a lot of resouces. My high school spanish is SLOWLY SLOWLY coming back to me. Now I couldn’t go to Spain and converse, but I am recognizing some of the simple words. Simple words for simple me! :-D
Johnny that’s what I thought you meant but had to google to be sure! You sir, are that handome young man! I asked wheere that handsome young man went that was here a while ago! Hey, WE ARE IN SPANIISH CLASS!
Sorry johnny that they lost. I need to get back into baseball, used to watch it with my dad when I was a kid, it’s slow sometimes, but it’s still sports! beats most of the shows on tv these days, except for the oldies but goodies. Of course, one of my favs is coming to its last episodes, “24” with Kiefer Sutherland, and it’s on tonite. And is CSI Miami. Once they start, I’ll get my exercise, running up and down the steps from here to the living room during commercial breaks! Hey I exercise! LOL!
I have never been a big baseball fan. A number of years back I was getting somewhat into it when the Mariners had the biggest winning season ever for any team. Then they lost during the first playoff round and it finished it for me.
Gee Cleo that is a shame.
Gee Cleo that is a shame.
I’ve been watching the Tigers since I was real little. The Mariners’ big winning season was around the time the Tigers almost broke the record for losses, stuck with it, and they got better.
Hola Old Tribe!Akenta, I’ll have to ask my Mom how to say Yappy Nuts in Spanish. I tried babel fish and the translation didn’t seem right.
Johnny, I used to love baseball. I was really into it a long time ago during the Big Red machine time. Bench, Rose, Morgan, etc, etc.
I loved Nolan Ryan too. I saw him pitch a no-hiiter on TV, but it was still exciting nonetheless.
im still here but leaving now bc its finaly 9. lol
i HARDLY ever watch tv. i watch movies bc the guys have tv control and i wont have cable or anything of the sorts in my apartment when i move out. bbl

ALL I MOST DEFENTLY HAVE CRS
Hola, mi amigos y amigas. BT has become the Lonewolf and RMOM show lately.
As for no TV, there are too many cable shows that I like. We’re watching ‘The Pacific’ on HBO, and ‘The Tudors’ and Nurse Jackie’ on Showtime. ‘Dr. Who’ is starting Saturday on BBC America, and where would I be without the Chiller channel on Friday nights?
‘The Pacific’ is excellent, it’s about WW2 and war on the Pacific front. Each episode has been very moving.
I am working on a cold right now, got through all winter without one. Don’t need this now, but oh well, what are ya’ gonna do. Signing off now is early for me, esp. with all of us together again. But I must for my own sake! LOL@
I will leave you all with this thought:
Dulces suenos, mis queridos amigos.
And this needs NO EXPLANATION! You all should know this by heart by now!
JFri, all I have to do is get through the rest of this season, and, theoretically, it will all be explained.
Carmy, congrats on your daughter coming home, is she at college right now?
I have to head to bed, early day tomorrow.
Peace and love all!
