No Dry, I just don’t get a lot of sleep on Mondays. Always had an early lab on Tuesday that I was afraid that I would sleep through, so I could never fall asleep. But it is done now, so that shouldn’t be a problem in the future.
Time for me to do my project. get a language sample from a 2-4 year old. Ana fits right in the middle! haha!! so off to get her and get that done done done. wish me luck. ill need it.
johnnyd, when I have a need to get up earlier than I am accustomed, I can do it without an alarm clock and I sleep well, but if I wake up I look at the clock to kind of readjust my internal one. It has never failed me. I also go to sleep within seconds of my head hitting the pillow. Before I met my wife, I used to wake up every night at 2 AM and lie awake, but now that never happens. Either I am content or my wife wears me out, probably a bit of each. LOL
i have to take about 2 hours worth of conversation and write down everything that is said by everybody. it is just me and ana for the most part then dad walked in and had to screw it all up. sigh! so i have to add him and stuff. its alot of work and im babysitting now also so its going to take forever to do it. wish me luck im getting off of here. latter.
Cleo, when Tia and Gregorio were in the airport and i saw the plane, I thought it was a private plane, not a commercial one. I can’t wait to see how this plays out. I’m still thinking that she is dreaming.
CARMY AND DRY because im sick and tired of homework and im ready to get out of my house and im tired and ready to get some rest and to be with people who want me around. lol
I’m sure glad I’m using the translator. I understood “Gracias señor caballero” as “thank you Mr. Cowboy”. My Spanish is so bad. What I know is more like a Tex-Mex slang.
Carmy, why would he say that?
JFri, I try and make an educated guess at what words mean from my knowledge of Latin and Italian, but I was way off on that one. LOL
johnny, because he read it on the internet. I told him, so what if it’s true? Supposedly the “real” Paul died in 1966 so whoever “Paul” is now has done a excellent job.
I remember that whole thing. It started with the Abbey Road album. People were deducing because of the way the Beatles were dressed it pointed to clues that Paul was dead. Paul was dressed in a suit without shoes, hence a corpse. George was dressed like a grave digger and John was the priest. I forget about Ringo. Plus, one of their songs played backwards was supposed to repeat Paul is dead.
Enough Spanish for the day, I will just say what I meant to say. I meant to say that some of the people at BT are not completely honest.
Cleo, I see what you mean about using the translators precisely. Some words have different meanings than the English meaning.
Thank you, johnny! I couldn’t understand and yes, you are correct.
I’m just putting my trust in the translator and trying hard to be precise. Some of the words have different meanings for me, but like I said before, that’s because my Spanish is quite slangy.
Buenos noches, hombre nenudo!
Dry, think again! I can to count over 100 in Spanish.
What I always found confusing is the “un mil” is a thousand. Sounds like it should be a million.
