How many folks that comment on this site have lived outside the US for at least several years?? You start to realize that only 5% of the world’s population are US and the other 95% don’t have the same agenda that we do. It took the Muslims 100 years to convert Afghanistan. Something to think about.

It would help if Americans, from top to bottom, understood that major network & cable news are still just local news. It’s nationwide, but that’s 4 time zones out of 24, & they mostly just cover 2 of those, & it’s not as deep as it is wide. You’re better off watching the History channel.

Afghanistan has 12% arable land. Most of the country is at high altitude. Bill and others need to understand a little about agriculture before determining just what folks grow for profit. As to their religious preferences, what happens to that “freedom of religion” whenever Islam is mentioned?

Karzai is a Condi-pet, and now acting the way she wants him to. NO, they don’t have their pipeline yet- so Karzai has indeed failed them.

Lib-Trolls? I’m all for liberating Trolls. Trolls are people too, even if they do live under bridges and eat the occasional traveler.

I’m certain they can be become respectable tax paying citizens.

They might even join the Republican Party, if that was considered respectable…
