    Hmmā€¦..calculatingā€¦ā€¦

30ā€ high tableā€¦..(no chairs)ā€¦ā€¦12ā€ high dog on all foursā€¦. maybe 24ā€ front to back legsā€¦..1/4ā€ vertical leap with all that poundageā€¦

Unless you left them right on the edge, Iā€™d say theyā€™re safe.

Well the thing to do now is milk the fact that you were a ā€˜good dogā€™ while they were gone for all itā€™s worth.

Fred is a good dog for not touching the chops on the table. Good boy!

Pretend that you knew all about the chops, Fred, and didnā€™t touch them out of sheer goodness.

That may be good startegy for the future, too. Youā€™ll seem like a nice boy to the Mrs. and Mr., and they would give you a nice portion of them anyway.

Had a wonderful ā€œHoney Baked Hamā€ one Thanksgiving. Had a dog in the house that could leap tall buildings in a single bound. Didnā€™t, think got home from in-laws to find a well gnawed bone. Also, a dog with certain digestive problems for awhile.
