    Hmm…..calculating……

    30” high table…..(no chairs)……12” high dog on all fours…. maybe 24” front to back legs…..1/4” vertical leap with all that poundage…

    Unless you left them right on the edge, I’d say they’re safe.

    Pretend that you knew all about the chops, Fred, and didn’t touch them out of sheer goodness.

    That may be good startegy for the future, too. You’ll seem like a nice boy to the Mrs. and Mr., and they would give you a nice portion of them anyway.

    Had a wonderful “Honey Baked Ham” one Thanksgiving. Had a dog in the house that could leap tall buildings in a single bound. Didn’t, think got home from in-laws to find a well gnawed bone. Also, a dog with certain digestive problems for awhile.
