I had a Pom like that once. I tried feeding him cat food… he would eat that, but the veterinarian told me not to and that it was bad for him. I have to wonder if cat food would really have been so bad vs his not eating until he became sick.

I’ve never had a dog as large as Fred who would turn down dinner. My wife’s Pom, however, is another story.
