I was “grunge” in high school without even knowing it. Not intentional: I really did not care what I looked like. Clothes take too much effort. If I could get away with walking around naked, I would.

When I started grade 7 (100 years ago), to look though I wore a black leather jacket. It lasted about 1 week.
