baseball kid is an underachiever, his painting is dinking a foul ball, and from looking at his stance, he is left-handed as well! (and facing the wrong way!!)

Lio and other characters are all ambidextrous…they use whatever hand best serves the illustration.

Am I the only one that noticed the HUGE paint brushes?

Good comments on “dexterous” [L. dexter] and sinister [L. sinister]. Of course Mark just explained in a post above why his creations are ambidextrous. But the concepts are old medieval and older cultural ideas going back to Islam/Judeaism/Hinduism before Christianity, which follow the other ideas. The left hand was the “unclean hand” used for toilet necessities and not to touch food, shake hands, etc. Thus we find that the ancients stereotyped left-handed individuals as “sinister.” Does that include the Devil? Everyone forgot that it’s EarthDay!
