Well, the trouble is, things often go invisible. Then when you replace them, yep! They pop right up. Keep the receipt!

The best way to regain lost weight is to buy smaller trousers and wash them once,

Never lost so many things as when I hired someone to help me organize. Found things months later in containers I almost never see.

Started doing that in my teens when I went out and bought a new crochet hook. Came home and found the old one on a windowsill, and I’ve been in the re-buy it/find it cycle ever since.

Which is why I own 9 pairs of tweezers, six rolls of Scotch tape, four rulers, three mini-sewing kits, and five pairs of scissors. It’s like the all go on vacation together and wait to greet the new purchase to all appear at once.

Yep, I have so many duplicate and triplicate hand tools it isn’t funny. Somethings I even have 5 or 6. There are times that you need something so bad that is isn’t worth the time looking for it, just buy another one while you are at the store so you are sure you have it to finish the project. Yesterday I spent 2 hours hunting down tools at dad’s house to replace a belt on the mini bulldozer. The belt replacement took 10 minutes.I was trying to clear the driveway of 12" of snow that had fallen the day before and my car had gotten stuck in one driveway and I couldn’t leave and the bulldozer was blocking the other drive way. Tomorrow I will buy him the exact tools he needs for the belt replacement and put it in a box on the bulldozer.

Dittos all "round. At least I know I came by it honestly. When my Dad passed, I kept his tools. At least 5 hammers and 20 screwdrivers.

..and when you have kids, you get a lot of help with misplacing things. Heck, stuff disappears NEVER to be seen again.
