Is the audience all made up of Canadians? Such a strange comic today… Heritage Day in Canada was established in 1973 and seems to be a day to celebrate their heritage and not a public holiday. Whereas Presidents Day is a federal holiday that started in 1885 as Washington’s Birthday to honor him (it was consolidated with Lincoln’s birthday in 1971 and is now known as Presidents’ Day). Anyway, the two holidays are unrelated and I don’t understand the point of only allowing or recognizing one.

Canadians are our staunchest allies and our moral conscience in affairs we ought to rethink. We are all North Americans!
